Best Effort Resell
Once purchased, theatre tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If you are unable to use your tickets, we are pleased to offer the courtesy of Best Effort Resell. We will help you resell the tickets on your behalf, but please understand that we cannot guarantee at any time that the tickets will resell.

Best Effort Resell works in three simple steps: First, fill out the BER form in its entirety and include with tickets. Then, ship BER tickets to our office via a courier providing a tracking number (FedEx, UPS, etc). We'll contact you in 4-6 weeks after the performance date regarding what resold.
Understanding the Best Effort Resell Process
Upon receipt of your tickets, they are recorded at Theatre Direct and will be available for other group customers to purchase on your behalf. Any unsold tickets are then sent, if possible, to the theatre the day before the performance.

If the box office is sold out for that performance, they may be able to sell them to last minute ticket-buyers. If you decide to “take back” any of your unsold tickets before the performance, please give us 24-hour notification so we can have them ready for you to pick up at our office. You will not be able to ask for them at the box office the day of the show.

If any of your tickets are resold, we will issue a refund for the face value of the tickets based on the original payment method. Please note that any service charges are not refunded.

Any unsold tickets are mailed to you. Many theatres allow you to “past date,” meaning they can be used to attend a future weekday performance, within one year, pending availability. Details on past dating are included with the tickets.

Maximizing your success in reselling your tickets
The sooner we receive your tickets, the more opportunity we have to potentially resell them to other group customers. Tickets to performances that are not sold out have little opportunity to sell at the box office, and you may want to consider keeping them.
