Broadway Student Lab: July 15-17, 2010

Broadway Classroom, the leading theatre workshop program in NYC,
announces a new summer workshop intensive just for students.

This program provides professional-level training in the musical theatre arts for promising young artists by affording them the opportunity to study with current Broadway performers and casting directors.

Our working theatre professionals challenge participants to surpass the level at which they are currently performing through workshops and master classes. Instruction will be offered in acting technique and performance, song interpretation, monologue work, scene study and theatre dance training.
Workshop application
The program is geared towards 13- to 19-year-olds looking to challenge their creative spirit in a fun and positive environment.

Workshop dates: July 15-17, 2010
Location: Chelsea Studios (151 W. 26th Street, 5th Floor)
Time: 9am-6pm daily
Early Bird Special: $600 (before May 1st)
After May 1st: $650

Workshop Information

The Broadway Student Lab includes
three days of workshops and master
classes taught by Broadway professionals.


-- Get individual attention and coaching with the teaching staff
-- Understand the process and the art of the audition
-- Learn a musical number from a current Broadway show
-- Attend 3 Broadway shows
-- Have Q&A opportunities with Broadway performers, casting directors and agents
Attend talk backs after each show (approval pending)
-- Perform for casting directors in a student showcase
-- Attend a banquet dinner at Planet Hollywood
