Beginning June 22, Courtney will play “Veronica Sawyer” with Likes in the role of “J.D.” The production will run a limited engagement through September 28 at New World Stages, where the show initially made its Off-Broadway debut. Original Off-Broadway director Andy Fickman will direct the revial.<\/p>\n

HEATHERS THE MUSICAL<\/em> follows Veronica Sawyer, a student at Westerberg High, who befriends the most popular and devious clique in school, the Heathers. With her popularity rising, Veronica meets the mysterious J.D., and everything begins to change.<\/p>\n

With music, lyrics, and a book written by Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy, HEATHERS THE MUSICAL<\/em> is based on the 1989 film by Daniel Waters. After premiering in Los Angeles with a sold-out run, the show transferred Off-Broadway to New World Stages in 2014. In 2018, the show was revised for a West End run, before two national tours and a return to the West End.
