THE GREAT GATSBY makes its jump from the page to the stage in roaring fashion perfect for students studying the American classic. A century after F. Scott Fitzgerald’s timeless 1925 novel was published, the Jazz-age tale of mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby is coming to life in a whole new way — this time as a musical with a pop-influenced original score that has sparked a viral TikTok dance craze and has young audiences lined up around the theatre to catch a glimpse of the cast.

Starring Ryan McCartan (Wicked, Frozen) as Jay Gatsby and Sarah Hyland (Modern Family, Little Shop Of Horrors) as Daisy Buchanan, the musical follows eccentric millionaire Jay Gatsby, who will stop at nothing in his tragic pursuit of Daisy Buchanan, a wealthy young woman whom he loved in his youth.

THE GREAT GATSBY features music and lyrics by Nathan Tysen (Paradise Square) and Jason Howland (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) and a book by Jonathan Larson Grant winner Kait Kerrigan (The Mad Ones). Marc Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) directs with choreography by Dominique Kelley (Mariah’s Magical Christmas Special).

The Broadway cast also currently features Noah J. Rickets (Frozen) as Nick Carraway, Sara Chase (The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) as Myrtle, Samantha Pauly (Six) as Jordan Baker, John Zdrojeski (Good Night Oscar) as Tom Buchanan, Terrence Mann (Pippin, Beauty and the Beast, Les Misérables) as Wolfsheim, and Charlie Pollock (Urinetown) as George Wilson.
