Taye Diggs and Wayne Brady to Join MOULIN ROUGE!

Taye Diggs and Wayne Brady are set to join the cast of MOULIN ROUGE! at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre this summer. No strangers to the Broadway stage, Diggs and Brady will begin performances as “The Duke of Monroth” and “Harold Zidler”, respectively, on July 22nd for a limited time only. Diggs will perform through September 28th and Brady will perform through November 9th.

Brady’s Broadway credits include the title character of 2024 revival of THE WIZ, as well as “Billy Flynn” in CHICAGO and “Lola” in KINKY BOOTS. Brady is a five-time Emmy winner, with screen credits including the improvisational comedy show “Who’s Line Is It Anyway?” and most recently the host of the CBS game show “Let’s Make A Deal”.

Diggs originated the role Benjamin Coffin III in the 1994 Broadway musical RENT, with other Broadway credits including “Billy Flynn” in CHICAGO, “Fiyero” in WICKED, and “Hedwig” in HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. He is also featured in the films “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,” “The Wood” and “The Best Man.”

Directed by Alex Timbers and winner of the 2021 Tony Award for Best Musical, MOULIN ROUGE! is a stage adaptation of the 2001 Baz Luhrmann film, mashing up more than 160 years of popular music.
