Olympic Medalist Laurie Hernandez to Join & JULIET

Two-time Olympic medalist, Laurie Hernandez, will be making her Broadway debut in the hit musical & JULIET beginning March 17th for a limited run through June 14th. Hernandez will be joining the ensemble of the production, in the featured dancer role of “Charmion”.
At the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics, Hernandez won a gold medal with the US Women’s Gymnastics team and a silver medal on the balance beam. Later, Hernandez went on to join season 23 of Dancing With The Stars, in which she became the youngest winner of the Mirrorball Trophy at just sixteen.
The current Broadway cast of & JULIET includes Gianna Harris as “Juliet”, James Monroe Iglehart as “Lance”, Teal Wicks as “Anne”, Drew Gehling as “Shakespeare”, Michael Iván Carrier as “May”, Kandi Burruss as “Angélique”, Liam Pearce as “Romeo” and Nathan Levy as “François”.
& JULIET opened on Broadway November 17, 2022 at the Sondheim Theatre after its West End run and was nominated for nine Tony Awards.
