GALILEO is Heading to Broadway!

GALILEO is heading to Broadway this Fall! The rock musical will begin performances November 10th at the Shubert Theatre and will star Raúl Esparza (Company), Jeremy Kushnier (Head Over Heels), and Joy Woods (Gypsy).
With a book by Emmy winner Danny Strong (Chess) and music and lyrics by Michael Weiner and Zoe Sarnak, GALILEO tells the story of astronomer Galileo Galilei, who is widely considered the father of modern science.
GALILEO premiered at Berkley Rep in 2024, starring Esparza in the title role and Kushnier as “Bishop Maffeo Barberini”- the two will reprise their roles in the Broadway production.
The production features direction under Michael Mayer and choreography under David Neumann. Amanda Lipitz, Henry Tisch and Jordan Roth will produce.
