REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES is kicking off the weekend with an exciting new release—an EP of sizzling demos by the show’s own music and lyrics mastermind, Joy Huerta! Known as one-half of the Grammy-winning musical duo Jesse & Joy, Huerta brings her powerhouse voice and heartfelt storytelling to the stage in this unforgettable new Broadway musical.

Inspired by the beloved play by Josefina López and the iconic hit film, REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES: THE MUSICAL bursts onto the Broadway scene this April with humor, heart, and a whole lot of empowerment. Set in the summer of 1987, it follows Ana Garcia, a young woman dreaming of escaping East Los Angeles. But when her family’s garment business receives a crucial order for 200 dresses, Ana must juggle her own aspirations, her mother’s high expectations, and a tight-knit community of women doing everything they can to survive and thrive against all odds.
